As a Division of Boart Longyear Geo-Tech is in the process of updating and increasing our drill rig inventory in order to meet demand and increase safety and reliability. Geo-Tech currently has seven truck mounted drill rigs capable of drilling hollow stem auger, mud rotary and wire line rock coring. Several of our rigs are mounted on 4x4 carriers for limited off-road access. All of our drill rigs have dedicated support trucks and mobile decontamination units. With skilled personnel, we specialize in all types of environmental and geotechnical installations including monitoring wells, peizometers and many other types of geotechnical instrumentation.

Depending on your sampling needs, we stock a variety of samplers. We are also setup to do barge work and drilling overwater.

Hollow Stem Augers are an efficient method of installing piezometers, vapor extraction, sparge and monitoring wells in unconsolidated formations. All of our trucks are capable of spinning 4.25" to 10.25" I.D. heavy duty triloc augers for well installations up to six inches. If your geotechnical projects encounter difficult formations, Mud Rotary and Wire Line Rock Coring are available
