| Since 1994 Geo-Tech Explorations has been at the forefront of direct push technology in the Pacific Northwest. With the increasing number of environmental site investigations and their unique challenges, we have developed a probe division which can handle most any task. Our probes are capable of running a variety of soil and water samplers, installing pre-packed monitoring wells/piezometers (3/4", 1", 1.5", 2”), installing soil vapor extraction/sparge wells (1/2" to 2") and performing insitu remediation injections. Our probe units all have vacuum pumps and peristaltic pumps for groundwater sampling.
With six truck mounted probes and two track mounted units, scheduling is now easier. Geo-Tech Explorations now owns three Geoprobe 6600 units with the strongest hammers in the industry. We have three modified Geoprobe 5400 units that have been retrofitted with heavier 165 pound Stanley hammers.
If space or sensitive terrain is an issue, try one of our limited access rigs. Geo-Tech Explorations has a Geoprobe 6620DT with all the power of its truck mounted counterpart and the mobility of a track rig. For tighter space restrictions choose the Geoprobe 540MTS mounted on a Ramrod Taskmaster 900T.
Our track rigs can also be quickly adapted to run the 165 pound Stanley hammers to acquire direct push samples in more challenging environments. |
